Villa Anahit sits at the foot of Karang Saujana Estate and is elevated with a large sea-facing terrace that’s perfect for sunset parties overlooking the Indian Ocean. There are four bedrooms and three fabulous living areas making it an ideal spot for a large group or retreat booking. The lush green garden sprawls out the front of the villa towards a separate meeting area, the kitchen is built to an upmarket European style and peace reigns throughout the villa’s luxury atmosphere allowing you to create a Bali holiday or event that will leave people feeling deeply rested and fulfilled.
The entranceway to Villa Anahit is up a set of dark stone steps that are laced with tropical vegetation. You’ll walk through the doors on a moat style entryway that’s landscaped with a goldfish pond overflowing with lilies and even an occasional scarlet ladybug waiting to say hello. The villa opens up into a marvellous marble laid living area with comfortable furniture scattered amongst high-quality artwork. The dining room is graced with a thick wood table, and the ceiling soars above it creating a breezy feeling which can be maximised by opening the glass fronted doors to the terrace. The black granite European style kitchen is nicely set off by the cream coloured walls and has all the appliances you (or our chef) could possibly need to create delicious meals.
The open plan nature of the top floor is excellent for parties. An air-conditioned media room sits off the left of the top floor living area, but we’re willing to bet you’ll spend most of your time taking in the views from the terrace. With an extended balcony that looks out over the ocean and includes an outdoor seating area for eight people, you could throw a stylish soiree beside the deep blue infinity pool. The outdoor area is scattered with deck chairs and an L-shaped couch centres around a wooden coffee table big enough to hold the type of tropical fruit platters fit for movie stars. There’s a handy side table for the bartender or DJ, and you’ll find yourself kicking back on the comfy pillows as the breeze drifts in and the sky soars above. The terrace is surrounded by low glass panels to keep the kids safe without spoiling the view.
Downstairs there are two more living areas. The first is lined with couches and set off nicely by well-chosen pieces of Balinese art and sitting separately from the main villa is another living area accessed by a pathway through the landscaped garden. It’s furnished plentifully with couches and stuffed armchairs that are roomy enough to host a group meeting or business conference without disturbing any of the guests.
The master bedroom is on the top floor overlooking the ocean with full glass frontage and a blue, silver and cream colour scheme. A frangipani tree grows up from the bottom level to bloom at eye level to the king-sized bed. The master bathroom has a bath, and marble floors with a glass fronted shower and WC next to each other. A substantial double walk-in wardrobe is to the right with dark panels and ample mirroring. Subtle lamps, a desk and an LG cable TV, provide extra comfort for the master of this villa, and thick cream curtains will block the early morning light should he or she want to catch up on some beauty sleep.
On the lower floor, towards the front of the villa, rooms two and three sit opposite each other facing the ocean and garden. Each is flooded with natural light, but taupe curtains can be pulled for maximum privacy. In room two, the king-sized bed has a comfortable couch at its foot for watching television. They are both accented with the same subtle and stylish decor in different tones. Nicely placed lamps for reading, small working areas and of course luxurious ensuites. Room two also includes a bath for soaking. There are double vanities, plenty of storage and the room has a small deck area with a table and chairs positioned to take in the breeze on a hot afternoon. Room number four sits at the rear of the villa, it has its own ensuite and is furnished with twin beds dressed in pops of red to set off the creamy walls.
Villa Anahit is staffed with a butler, daily housekeeping, a gardener and a maintenance man to keep the infinity pool pristine. We have an on-call nanny, beautician and chef to cook sumptuous meals for you. There’s also a driver to help you explore the rest of Uluwatu. There are extra charges for these, but our friendly, professional staff are happy to help.
